Pakistan Flood Relief Fund
Summary
Severe monsoon rains have caused deadly floods in northern India and Pakistan. In Pakistan, nearly 200 people have died in flash flooding in recent days. In Kashmir, at least 65 people are dead, with 300+ injured, and 200 missing. Homes, bridges, and roads are destroyed, leaving thousands stranded - and more rain is expected. This fund will provide urgent aid and support long-term recovery.
Challenge
Severe flash flooding throughout Pakistan, India, and Kashmir in a heavy monsoon season have wiped out homes, crops, and roads, isolating thousands and taking hundreds of lives. In a region already reeling from repeated waves of torrential rains, these seasonal monsoons - now fiercer from climate change - bring deadlier floods each year, compounding displacement, hunger, and economic strain.
Solution
Donations to the India-Pakistan Flood Relief Fund will support emergency response efforts across affected regions. Immediate relief will include search and rescue assistance, medical care, food, clean water, and temporary shelter. In the long term, your contribution will help rebuild homes and infrastructure and support local, community-led recovery efforts - especially those focused on marginalized and underserved populations most impacted by the floods.
